California was never meant to stand still.

The FAULT / LINE Shirt explores the forces that shaped the Golden State through a dramatic split landscape built around one defining fracture. California is divided into offset terrain, with the rugged Pacific coast and towering redwoods meeting the granite peaks of the Sierra and the sun-worn landscapes beyond.

At the center, a jagged fault tears through the composition. Coastlines shift. Mountains break alignment. Terrain separates and reconnects. Even the FAULT / LINE typography becomes part of the fracture, turning the slash itself into an extension of the fault.

The back continues the story from a completely different perspective, opening the landscape outward as California’s coast and mountains are separated by a fractured corridor of floating rock and negative space.

Rich natural tones, intricate terrain, premium cutouts, and carefully placed negative space give the artwork depth while preserving its rugged, wearable character.
