The Halfway to Night Shirt from the ROAVYN Equinox Series captures the transformation between two celestial worlds—the moment sunlight begins its journey into moonlight.

At the heart of the design, a brilliant sun releases streams of golden light that descend through fractured clouds and open negative space. As the light travels downward, its warmth gradually gives way to stars, cooler tones, and the glow of a waiting moon. Below, a lone traveler stands against a rugged alpine horizon, witnessing the transition from day into night.

Rather than separating the sun and moon into opposing forces, Halfway to Night connects them. Solar light appears to pour directly into the lunar world, creating a continuous celestial passage between the two.

The typography becomes part of that transition. HALFWAY TO NIGHT moves visually from warm solar tones into cold moonlit detail, reinforcing the shift happening throughout the artwork.

On the back, the perspective moves closer to the phenomenon. The sun and moon dominate the composition as flowing bands of light sweep downward and around the lunar surface, surrounded by clouds, stars, and purposeful negative space. It’s a different view of the same moment—the source of light becoming the light that guides the night.

Day doesn’t simply end. It becomes something else.
